It's start with a drawing..

As this Statue is meant to be a Portrait of this particular Stallion, the real measurements of the Pony are used. to set up the Iron Armature in the right form.
Height approximately 2.10 meters.(83 Inches) after the necessary corrections, the Armature gets a clothing of wire netting, and the modeling wax is covering it, to be worked out into the whole raw form (silhouette) the result of that has to be to my satisfaction.
(Dec-16-2001)
After this process the work continues further into the details, using the many photo's I have of the particular Horse. |
(Jan-22-2002) Until the minor details, witch are in my opinion very important to create a good Portrait, there is only one way to do this, it has to be Perfect, for my Clients and viewers to Judge. |
